I had a very bad experience eating here with my family. We ordered two flanks (very uneven portions and cooking, one abundant and medium to well done, the other much smaller and medium rare), an entrecote (very thin and exceedingly well done - what a waste), a pork chop (ridiculously small portion, way too little) and a sandwich (the only good item of the bunch, and the reason why the food is not rated one star). All meat was served with poor presentation skills as well, with meat piled up hiding the well done bits, highlighting the differences in portions in the supposed-to-be same orders, and the not so abundant pork. The cherry on top of the cake is that the salad was way too acidic to be pleasant. The price is HIGH, and you would assume that a butcher shop-vibe restaurant would have more respect for the meat they serve. I cannot recommend this place, and I will think twice before giving it...
Read moreA very disappointing experience, at a place with alot of potential. The prices are outrageous for the quantity of food given. I ordered an entrecote, which not only came pre-cut (in a very questionable manner), but also had a very un-even doneness (part was rare and part was well done). The side tomatoes were drenched in vinegar, making them un-edible. As for the customer service, it was lacking in many different aspects. The staff seemed unprepared, struggling to even answer the most basic of questions. The overall experience was very poor, I definitely would not recommend it to anyone. Perhaps the only thing going for this restaurant is its location, maybe because it is not something the staff can...
Read moreA small, but cozy, meat place, with both a fully stocked meat counter, as well as some tasty cooked meals, such as a cheese burger, a Reuben sandwich, and sausages.
They also seem to have a soup of the day, which looked rather good too.
The food was well composed, the burger was juicy and tasty, same for the Reuben sandwich which contained brisket, cheese, sauerkraut, Dijon mustard as well as another sauce, which I can't remember the name of, contained in a sourdough bread.
In short friendly staff, and a good atmosphere, with...
