We were here for a weekend dinner, and this place exceeded any expectations I had. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, the service is amazing, and the food is delicious. I'm very allergic to bell peppers and when I mentioned this, the owner of the place came over to us and discussed the menu and how certain dishes were prepared with me. She told me which of the entrees were alright for me and which weren't, and ended up customizing a main dish for me, which was very kind of her. The waitress also came back to ask if I could eat chili, which was very considerate and thoughtful of her. For appetizers, we had the börek, pita bread, and halloumi fries. The pita bread was the best I've ever eaten—it's not the sad, dry, flat pita breads cut into wedges that you usually get, but it's a warm, crispy, chewy large pita bread that was amazing. The börek and halloumi fries were also really tasty and nicely presented. The entrees were delicious (I had falafel and my boyfriend had the chicken) and the portions were generous. We had a great experience here, especially due to the kind staff, and I highly recommend this place and look forward to...
Read moreMisleading “Iftar” Advertisement – Fasting Customers Left Without a Table!
I had a terrible experience at this restaurant during Ramadan. They heavily advertise that they offer “Iftar,” but in reality, they do NOT accommodate those who are actually fasting! When I arrived close to iftar time, every table was already occupied by people who had been eating since 5 PM. There was no space for those who genuinely needed to break their fast at Maghrib.
To make things worse, their website doesn’t even allow reservations, so there was no way to secure a table in advance. It is completely unacceptable for a restaurant to market itself as an iftar destination when they do not prioritize those who are fasting. This is misleading, poorly managed, and incredibly frustrating.
If you are fasting and looking for a real iftar experience, DO NOT waste your time here. They clearly care more about filling their seats all evening than actually serving those who need to...
Read moreI had the absolute pleasure of dining at Sweet & Salti in Stockholm, and I must say – what an incredible experience! The restaurant served some of the most delicious Palestinian food I’ve ever had. Every dish was bursting with authentic flavors, made with care and passion.
I tried the Makloubeh and Shushbarak, and both dishes were absolutely amazing. The Makloubeh was perfectly cooked – aromatic rice layered with tender meat and vegetables, full of rich spices. The Shushbarak, with its delicate dumplings in a creamy yogurt sauce, was a comforting and flavorful delight.
From the warm hospitality to the beautifully presented plates, everything felt thoughtful and genuine. You can truly taste the tradition and love in every bite.
A must-visit spot in Stockholm if you’re craving something flavorful, soulful, and truly special. Highly recommended – I’ll definitely be...
