Mogge Sushi Östermalm — Restaurant in Stockholm

i felt transported to Tokyo. it's a tiny sushi bar where you sit right where the magic happens. we stumbled in 20 min before closing, everything was already cleaned - but the very friendly staff did prepare us an amazing dinner anyways.

we never had a miso soup that delicious before - with a slight taste of ginger ... warming and jummy.

and the sushi was exceptional. the fish was room temp as it is expected in a high quality restaurant and the rice was outstanding. nothing for people who are not used to chopsticks :-) the fish melted on the tongue and the pickled onion and pickles did give a nice swedish touch.

if they wouldn't have closed i would still be there to order more and...

Underated fantastic Sushi spot in the heart of Stockholm.

I had walked past earlier in the evening and the small shop intrigued me, so I came back later and decided to have a quick dinner inside.

The staff were friendly, fun and took care of me - Mixed 15piece Sushi platter was incredible. Very fresh, tasty fish. Clearly great quality. All served up at decent prices - What's not to love!?

The Miso Soup was a perfect addition with the Sushi.

After trying to place the languages being spoken, I later learned that the staff were Mongolian, which was an interesting story!

Kudos to the Mogge team, please keep up the fantastic work. Баярлалаа...

This sushi place was shockingly good. Very high quality sushi, nicely presented, and was so surprisingly affordable. The rolls are also great quantity. We sat down to eat (there is counter space for 4 people, or 2 pairs, in there) but most people were taking to go. The staff was very nice and actually convinced us to order less, telling us the rolls might be more filling than what we expect, and they were actually very right. I was very impressed and would go here all the time if I lived in Stockholm especially if I needed...
