Morfar Ginko — Restaurant in Stockholm

Stopped by for a pizza, which was pretty average, but nonetheless carried a 180kr price tag. Exorbitant even for Stockholm standards. I must say, however, that during my meal, I was served by an attentive, courteous waitress. This was the highlight of my experience.

After my meal,however, I decided to have a drink at the bar area; unfortunately, there the service was detached and disinterested. One of the waitering staff had her back turned towards the bar, showing complete neglect to those waiting to get a drink. I was clearly waiting to order, but it felt like there was little interest in showing any degree of helpfulness.

I often disapprove of writing about places via google reviews. I do, however, feel the need to alert those visiting Stockholm to avoid this place, at least if you would like to get a drink. One has plenty of choices in the area; don’t waste time and money in a bar too cool to care for...

What a poor customer experience. Got served beers by a visibly intoxicated bartender late at night. Five minutes later, we were approached by another bartender who said we had to finish the drinks IMMEDIATELY because the place was closing. As we protested (we literally just got served and our glasses were full), another staffer approached us with the same request. To our complaints, he rudely replied that he did not care, that we had to leave NOW, and we were free to never come back if we didn’t like their rules.

We heard no apologies, no acknowledgements of a mistake, no suggestions to compensate for the overpriced beer. I liked the place before (and my previous review on Google was good) but the way they run their business really has to change...

Used to go here during my younger years. But it seems to have changed a lot. Extremly rude staff.

I visited early one day to make sure I could book a table in advance for the evening. I got ignored by the staff and was later denied a table for the evening as not all of the 8 people were eating. Keep in mind I was told this by a member of staff while he was on the computer giving his back to me like I didn't matter.

Im sure the food is good and overpriced but I will not be coming back anytime soon.

A shame that rude staff has taken over and ruining the nice söder...
