I have never written a restaurant review in my life, but what happened here made me feel like I had to. Even when I have a less-than-perfect experience, I prefer to leave positive feedback—but this was something else. The food itself was very nice, but the service was absolutely awful. I specifically asked for my dish without tomatoes, yet it still came with them. The tipping system was in Swedish, which we didn’t understand. I didn’t want to leave a tip, so my friend asked me in French which button was for 'no tip,' and I pressed it. Out of nowhere, the waiter (a bald guy, i think his name is Aris (1032)) started shouting and making a scene, sarcastically clapping and saying, 'Bravo, bravo!' He kept yelling, 'Let him have his opinion!' even though all my friend did was ask a simple question, and they asked me to do it for them because they didn’t understand swedish. I have never seen a waiter behave like this before. It was completely unprofessional and uncomfortable. Because of this experience, I absolutely do not...
Read moreThe restaurant offers authentic delicious Greek food. We've decided to order a few mezze dishes and we loved every single one of them. Their menu is very rich in both dishes and beverages, which is great. I wish we could have tried more foods but sadly we just aren't big eaters.
What we've absolutely loved was the concept of the taco gyros - a great way to serve a fullsized dish in a miniature form! Although not quite as authentic as the other dishes, the idea was so creative that I just had to mention it. We also enjoyed the fact that the restaurant is situated in a less touristic and calm area.
The prices were on the higher side but it is to be expected in Stockholm, so we weren't surprised. Moreover, the interior of the restaurant didn't feel very cozy.
The service was okay.
I would recommend this place and I would...
Read moreWow, if only here was an award for the most terrible service in town! Specially considering we were in a Greek resturant being served by a Greek waiter (Supposedly one of the most hospitable nations/cultures in town). And mind you, I have been living in Sweden for some years now and I am used to the general quality of service here, which IMO is not so high. So I am not comparing hhis to some high standard.
It felt we were eating for free! His face was sour, his responses very curt, and he even started sighing and looking in our direction signifying for us to leave when we stayed for a bit chatting after our dinner, eventhough it was still half an hour to go before their closing time. I will never ever come here again!
PS: To be fair the food was OK, but the service completely ruined the...
