Sushi Oi — Restaurant in Stockholm

We’ve tried a few of the Omakaze’s in Stockholm and none of them can compete with Sushi Oi.

The food was sublime and we noticed that a lot of attention has been put on the small things. Here you’ll find interesting flavor combinations (the monkfish liver simmered in red wine was mesmerizing), well thought out sequence of dishes, just right amount of sauces/garnishing, well balanced rice etc.

Also, the two gentlemen running the intimate 6 seat sittings exude omotenashi - an outmost care for their guests.

I have been here six times now and I can wait to go back! Everything in this place gives the feel of a real Japanese sushi restaurant! From the environment, to the food. The food is delicious and never the same, the Chef prepares the dishes based on what was availabe fresh that day.
