The tapas are delicious but the server dampened our experience. As soon as we arrived (about 8:30 pm) he told us we were late and that the kitchen closed at 9 pm, so "we had to hurry up". Nevertheless, we stayed because we were hungry and ordered quickly to avoid being scolded like children. After we ordered he told us we could stay just a bit past 9:30 pm because they close at 10 pm. Over and over he kept telling us that we had arrived sooo late and constantly made us feel that he was doing us a favor just for letting us sit there. We were paying customers for goodness sake! He could have told us to come back another day and not treat us the way he did. I usually never complain and give credit where credit is due but this server was not behaving nicely. In hindsight, we should have left right then and there to avoid feeling awful for no reason. Too bad because the tapas were...
Read moreUnfortunatly this was really disappointing, especially since I have heard good things about it.
The interior is rustic and charming. However it took almost 30 minutes to get served our first drink. Then food was ok, could have used a bit more salt/taste and the warm food came in quite cold, which was quite odd for the potatoes, chicken and slider :(
After waiting almost an hour for our other plates to arrive we informed them that we were still missing 2 dishes. The (at least he seemed like) owner came in with a quite neglectful tone accusing that we have already been served the dishes. He comes back, after 5 minutes wanting to take our plates before we were done eating 😓
So was both surprised and honestly really sad about this experience and wanted to share it so that no one else needs to experience this and perhaps gets to enjoy another much nicer restaurant at...
Read moreWe came as a group of 7 into the almost empty restaurant, and it took a while for the stuff to select a table for us. The waitress made a mistakes with the drinks (didn’t get the right type of Sangria) but it wasn’t the biggest mistakes here. What is the most bothering thing is that we had to wait at least 1 hour to get the paella delivered, which shouldn’t have been a big problem if the waitress has stated that “extra long waiting time is needed” beforehand. Otherwise, the food was okay although in Spain they don’t deliver the paella with the chicken in one piece (with bones inside), which was a bit strange. Also, according to the menu the portion should be enough for 2 people but the layer of rice was so thin that in reality it would be best for 1 person. My friends however didn’t really have any problems with their tapas. All in all, I wouldn’t go back to this...
