Thai House Wok — Restaurant in Stockholm

When I first went there I was a bit sceptical, as it seems like a pretty lousy fastfood-chain. I was VERY pleasantly surprised however. I've visited many times the past year, and in my opinion it beats many (high-end) thai restaurants I've been to.

I've had takeaway every time, the place itself doesn't seem too comfy. Most of the time I've visited for lunch. There has been a fantastic woman in the kitchen most of these lunches, and I think she is the primary genius behind the quality. Thai House Wok. Your average Thai house wok place that gives you that sweat hot feeling at lunch that we all need. ..and a bag of Samarin before bed. (teeth) The food is average but the portions 🍲🌶️are HUGE! Seriously, I took “two small dishes” it was two regular sized dishes on a huge plate. I was stuffed and sleept the rest of the day at the office. ..ops delete that. The interior are minimalistic and clean. Reminds me of Japanese restaurants..if someone invites me there so I can check for sure. In all. You will not be disappointed here. And...

This place is great for lunch. The servings are so big that if you eat in you'll be lucky to finish. If you take away then you have lunch for the next day as well. The food is good and the flavours are pretty decent for being a Thai place in Stockholm. If it says spicy then, generally the food has a decent amount of flavour. Of course it's not spicy by Thai standards but it's still enough to warm your forehead. The place has limited seating so make sure you get there before or after the lunch peak... ...or just take it with you and eat somewhere...
