TONY'S — Restaurant in Stockholm

Tony's punches well above its weight. If you just pass by it's pretty unassuming and seems like maybe it's just another lame-o place to "pop in for a quick sub-par salad or floppy generic pizza for lunch". But it's not at all. First of all, about the salads, they are awesome. It's a build-your-own model with a generous base then tons of fresh and creative options to add. The result is consistently as-good-or-better than the dedicated salad restaurant options. But I'm all about pizza, and Tony's are no joke. The place looks very janky and the staff aren't engaged in giving their customers a good experience. Kind of just slapped the pizza half baked on the table, with burnt edges. And acted generally careless .The tomato sauce was running off of it as you eat, the cheese unevenly placed, very sloppy in other words. And the taste was horrid! Especially compared to any other place, or even frozen pizza from your local grocery store. As you eat, you feel like you could have saved those calories for something much, much better and money too, of course. If there was an option to give 0 stars, this would be it! Don't bother...

Legit, quality pies! Burst in there starving, and the staff could not have been more patient and accommodating! Made just what I wanted and fit it in a to go box for me so I could enjoy it with the sunset on my hotel balcony. Thin, crisp crust , perfect amount of sauce and just the right amount of spicy on my peperoni!

The only downside is I don’t have Tony’s at home. I intend to return again before I leave. Well worth the visit! Tak Tony!
