A bonafide box ticker! If you're in Stockholm & are serious about good authentic curry, and have not yet eaten here, then your life & palate are not as nourished as they could be. The mix korai was superb. I had extra chilli. The flavour of the sauce had depth & was perfectly balanced. It was packed with juicy tender prawns, lamb & chicken. The lamb was as tender if not more tender, than the chicken & prawns(!) - it melted & fell apart in your mouth. Poppadoms were fresh & crispy, as was the salad. The staff were super friendly & when the chef brought my food out, he also went & got me a Kingfisher. I'm a 'snob' about the superior quality of authentic Indian, Pakistani & Bangladeshi restaurants in the UK. I grew up in Birmingham in the 70s & 80s when Baltis & table naans kicked off. Amazing food! Definitely one of the best Indian food places I've been to and considering other places it's not that expensive! The staff were super nice and was even nice enough to explain to us what some of the foods were and recommended a couple! The positive reviews did not let us down! Every element was executed without anything to fault. The lamb was amazing. You could tell that it had been slow cooking in the masterfully balanced sauce for hours to achieve its flavour-penetrating tenderness.
