Oh my dear Pascal...where should I start from? I have been living for three wonderful years in the lovely Stockholm. For some people, getting to know where the closest supermarket is, the best school for their children or the local emergency numbers, are settling priorities. For me they are too, but I have some mental disorder which places specialty coffee places in top of that list. That is how I got to Pascal first. I needed to build my specialty coffee safety network here and then this place became prominent in the city map. I think I will never forget the jaw dropping feeling that very first time I faced the tempting pastries showcase. While recovering from that, I continued only to get shocked by the range of coffees in the menu. I have always loved that concept of house blend + guest roaster/special own roasted coffee available for espresso.
Along these years, I have been lucky enough to get coffees served here from many different Baristas. For me, they are superstars; each one with their personal style, all of them brewing nothing but vibrant cups. In the sweet or savoury ends of the spectrum, I have tried only exceptional options. From the exciting seasonal viennesse pastries to the decadent iconic egg - ham croissant (could you please export this one worldwide?). The service is always as busy as it can get here, but never saving in smiles and kindness to their customers. I had some special request along the way, and always felt welcomed and accommodated as well as possible. Visiting in bright summer mornings, cold harsh evenings, celebrating moments or exhausting weekdays, I have always came out with a warm feeling. Therefore, more than a review, this is just a huge thank you for your daily work. Two things are out of the discussion for me: I will keep always Pascal as my comparative reference to rate coffee shops worldwide, and I will stop here first whenever I can enjoy...

They also have their own bakery and have a killer Ruben sandwich and a really tasty smoked salmon salad. Given what they offer in terms of quality for the money this place is packed at breakfast and lunch with latte moms and students from school of economics. During summer enjoy a hand brewed pour over coffee outside in sun together with a cardamom bun.
On the coffee geek side of things: they have a nice setup. v60 pour overs, a Mahlkönig EK43 grinder and a hipster brewer (made in Sweden by 3temp), two Victoria arduino espresso grinders and a la marzocco linea. That together with a shelf covering a whole wall packed with coffees from the top coffee roasters in Europe (love coffee, koppi, la cabra, gardelli, the barn, fjord, wendelboe and constantly changing) they give the visitor a hint that they are serious about their coffee. It’s also rumored that they will start their own...
Read moreThis is one of my favourite cafes in Stockholm! It's perfect for fika or brunch. Everything from the pastries is just scrumptious and the coffee is top quality. The meals are great too. My favourite is the smoked salmon salad - nutritious and delicious 😋. My boyfriend always orders Ruben sandwich. There are vegan and vegetarian dishes on the menu, and of course, you could order a coffee with non-dairy milk. Takeaway is also an option. I like the interior - it has some industrial look with exposed bricks, plants and loads of cosiness. The downside is that it gets very busy at the weekends and sometimes you need to wait for a table. Moreover, the tables are quite small and densely arranged. It feels like you are sitting on the same table with other people and you are able to hear their conversations. It is not the most intimate place. The atmosphere is vibrant and buzzing and it's rather a quick-bite place. The staff always welcomes you with a smile. Overall, paying a...
