The best Asian Tapas in Stockholm! Great selection with a mixture of Japanese, Korean, Chinese and Thai food. There are not only small dishes and sushi but also main dishes which is unconventional for an "izakaya". 6 to 7 small dishes to share among 2 people is enough. I've been there 4 times and I liked everything.
My ranking for the dishes I've tried: Kara-age (Japanese Fried Chicken) Agedashi Tofu (Fried Tofu in broth) Tiger Prawns Spicy Lime Chicken (- similar to #1 but spicy) Dolsot BiBimBap (Korean rice bowl with marinated veggies, egg, and meat, served in steaming hot stone bowl) Fried Spicy Tuna Rolls (- melts in your mouth, followed by crispness!) Fried Spicy California Rolls (- tasty and crispy outside Tofu Gyoza (- tasted homemade) Fried Spring Rolls (- much bigger than veggie spring rolls) Salmon Poké Noodle Soup (- tasted good but too much beef and too little veggies for my taste) Small Fried Rice (- Surprisingly generous portion) Vegetarian Spring Rolls (- good but nothing special)
Dessert: Chocolate Fondant (- a small chocolate lava cake with hot chocolate oozing from the middle, served on top of crushed cookies with vanilla ice cream and blueberry sauce on the side. The perfect blend of hot vs. cold and sweet vs. acidity. AMAZING)
The staff are super friendly and helpful. The selection of alcoholic drinks are extensive including sake and cocktails (I love their cocktails!). They really understood what...
Read moreWe liked this place a lot, super friendly staff and the food did not dissapoint. Every dish were delicious, however, we were a bit dissapointed in the Hong Sao Rou as we thought it didnt taste very much.
We chose 5 different dishes to share, the recommended amount is 6 dishes but for us 5 were just right. Our favourite was the Creamy crispy prawn and Spicy lime chicken.
The atmosphere in the restaurant is very cozy, the music is not traditional but it was a fun vibe and we liked it.
Would truly recommend this place if you are in the area, perfect restaurant to go with friends or family to share dishes, or by yourself to...
Read moreWent here for the Japanese autumn sake event. Came a bit early so we got to experience GREAT service with the undivided attention of the waiters. They had knowledgeable servers who knew how to describe and make sense of their varied selection of sake to complete novices.
The selection of food was broadly east Asian with a focus on Japanese staple meals. Food is served in tapas-sized dishes, so sharing food and all the different tastes was a painless pleasure.
I gladly recommend this to anyone who wants to have a unique restaurant experience. And the waiters are dying to share what they know, so try to visit during...
