Retro Sportbar & Restaurang - The Crib — Restaurant in Stockholm

I was very happy to find this bar after having dinner with a group of friends I hadn't seen in a long time. We had dinner at a restaurant and after that all we wanted was a place where we could sit, drink and talk. Turned out many bars don't really accommodate those three things. We went to three different bars that were all too crowded for us to find seats, too loud with music to be able to converse and too expensive for young adults to afford a couple of beers to drink. Retro sportbar however didn't have any of those issues. There's a large amount of tables and plenty of space between them. There was music playing in the bar but not nearly loud enough to make conversations difficult. And the beer here is only about 39sek. For our needs this bar was perfect. Definitely...

I am rarely so critical, but this bar frankly left a bad impression on me. As soon as I arrived, the atmosphere seemed cold, and it did not match the attitude of the waitress, who displayed a closed face and a total lack of enthusiasm. A simple smile can transform an experience, but here, we rather felt like disturbing.

The service was slow, as if taking an order was a chore. Not a pleasant word, not an engaging look, just a mechanical and expeditious order. When we go to a bar, we are looking for a moment of relaxation, not to feel ignored or badly received.

I went there yesterday booked a table for my group. Phone call went great, easy to talk to and polite. They mentioned it would be Argentina vs Poland match for world cup. And Saudi vs Mexico. When we arrived there it was only Argentina vs Poland.. A bit odd since they mentioned they would stream both matches. No complaining either way.

Nice and friendly people even thou the place fullstacked. I had a great time. Food. Is not expensive but it's easy to get to a high price. Cheapest beer cost around 39 SEK.
