Restaurant Clarastübli Cordon-Bleu und Steakhaus — Restaurant in Basel

I would have liked to try the restaurant but when I visited they left their door unlocked and lights on during normal business hours which should mean they were open but they yelled saying they were closed and pointed to the door.

Edit: the owner decided to respond so I'll add by emphasizing that the door was unlocked, not open. Additionally, the hours posted on the door said open until 23:00 and I arrived at 22:00. I wasn't even able to ask if there was availability and barely walked in the door to say anything before being forced to leave. Every place I go, I make sure not to assume that I would be seated since it was close to posted closing hours. Please update your hours on Google to avoid these issues in the future. We had a really lovely dinner here after a long day, very much recommend.
