I hate just coming here to complain about restaurants but I just feel compelled to do so. What a bizarre interaction.
First he told us they were closed, but he can sell us the spring rolls.
“Ah, on Google it says you’re open until 10pm and it’s 9:34pm.”
“Wanna bet?”
Yes, he really got all weird and said wanna bet. So I opened Google and showed him.
“That’s not us.”
“It has the same name as the sign behind you.”
He mumbled something I didnt understand and I let it go.
Then we get the food. Two spring rolls. The photo on the menu is 4. It’s 9 francs!
I point to the gigantic photo and say it shows 4 spring rolls. First he says it’s just an ad. Then he insists it shows 2 that are cut in half. You can see for yourself in the photos, it is most definitely 4.
Why does this matter? It doesn’t. It was just so weird to have such a strange and confrontational encounter with someone whose food my wife was very excited to try.
Also the spring rolls weren’t very good and they used the wrong...

I visited Nón Lá Vietnamese Corner KLARA and ordered two beef Banh Mi. While the flavor was good, I was disappointed by the lack of meat in the sandwich. The ratio of meat to vegetables was far from balanced—too many veggies and very little beef. For 16 CHF per Banh Mi, I expected much more in terms of portion size, especially having spent four years in Vietnam, where Banh Mi costs between 20,000 to 80,000 Dong, even for premium versions. Unfortunately, the value for money here was disappointing, and I don’t plan to return. At that price, it felt like a rip-off.
