Hi Everybody! Yearsteday I was in Bern with my boyfriend for a one day trip. In the middle of the afternoon we decided to take a cup of hot chocolate, one of the best “Winter drink” for us. Unfortunately When we decided to order one hot chocolate in Confiserie Beeler we receive a Kind of Cappuccino/ seems like my cup of milk and cacao 🙃 strange no?? Suddenly I decided to talk with the waitress, and explained in english which was the problem! The senior woman of the staff was very rude, and told me that the drink was composed by chocolate and water 😂😂😂😂 “I’m not stupid!! Ok?” I know the traditionall hot chocolate. After this “smart” conversation I decided to not insist and I finished my ordination! The price of this bad winter drink was too much expensive! 5.40CH 😤😤😤😤😤😤😤! The food itself was fine. However, service was very unprofessional. First of all, I asked if they could warm up my "Schinkengifeli" (ham croissant) for me at the counter. They told me to take it to my place and ask for it when ordering our drinks. We waited for a long time before eventually having to get up to actively call someone to take our order. I was with tourists and they tried ordering in English, but the lady completely ignored them and only replied in Swiss German, with no attempt at all to communicate with them. In the end, I would've had to wait 10 minutes for them to warm my food, so I declined. They also forgot to bring one of our drinks and spilled all of the ones they brought.
