This was my second time at the Nido Ristorante in Bern. I hoped for the terrace to be open, but unfortunately the moody Swiss Summer weather decided on a downpour.
Food was excellent, like the first time, so were the waiter and waitress that took care of us. We were going for a light lunch and started with a green salad. Nothing extraordinary, just nice greens with a delicate Italian dressing, I guess this is their house dressing. Meat lovers will find a small but decent selection of different cuts (including a Tagliata) and dishes, but we were looking for some fish. We opted for the branzino (sea bass), which came as a fillet of very good quality, crispy skin and a perfectly fried fish with a beautiful brown finish.
