aesthetically very cute place, definitely very much american diner vibes! the tables were shaking a bit everytime we moved, so that was just slightly annoying. the tables were cleaned but the place in general didn't seem extremely clean, which is fair to a degree, as some things like the jukeboxes are vintage i'm sure. but i had a black spot inside of my glass that i was very easily able to scrape off. very friendly and helpful customer service! they served us in english with a smile on their face the whole time. oreo milkshake was pretty good (a little too milky for me, i like it thicker), and he even gave me extra as they made too much. the cheese fries tasted very good but portions are a bit small, which was very okay as the burgers & hotdogs were huge. the hotdog was about twice the size of a regular hotdog, so if you have a small stomach like me, maybe share with someone, i barely finished half of it. all the food was delicious besides the coleslaw, it tasted a bit old to me but my mom liked it. homemade lemonade was very good too. red chili poppers were very crispy which i love. the ketchup came in a heinz bottle but definitely didn't taste like heinz, just a little side note since i thought that was a bit odd. unfortunately we couldn't try the desserts as we were all super full, i would like to come back to try their apple pie. another note, they use plastic straws, so if you care a lot about the environment, maybe ask...

Long waiting time (about 40 minutes), but it was worth it. The Smokey Crispy Bacon Burger was really good. I especially loved the presentation with the bell and the smoke... it really opened up the great aroma of the burger. The burger was big, fresh and really tasty. American fries were nothing special, but were good nonetheless. One improvement I can recommend is to have sauces (ketchup, mayo,...) on the table for convenience. Our table only had tabasco sauce.

Now, for the waiting time, it looks like the place is either understaffed or has some other problem... a kitchen not being big enough, for example. While waiting for the food, I could clearly see that the staff is giving 120% of themselves to provide the best service, but there still seems to be a problem. The only reason I gave 4 stars to Service is the waiting time... it's not the lack of service quality (when they get to you) or lack of staff effort. On the contrary... the Spanish speaking guy with the tattoo was the definition of an employee I'd like to have at my place, if I ever owned a restaurant.

Overall, if you have some time to spare, I'd recommend the place for the atmosphere, service and the food.

Edit: For some reason, Google resets the stars for Food, Service and Atmosphere to 0. I don't know what's the problem, but I can't fix it, so here it is: Food 5, Service: 4,...

A fabulous 1950’s style diner in town. It’s a diner and an American store which is located on the 1st floor of the building. There is also an Hawaiian bar on premises which is open in the evenings.

Great atmosphere, juke box classics and friendly service. The menu was classic diner style with burgers, hot dogs, nachos, milkshakes and a few other bits and pieces.

I loved the poutine which was probably the only non American thing on the menu ;-) Fresh cut fries topped with gravy and cottage cheese and here it also included some mozzarella balls. The Mexican burger was excellent and the burger cooked to perfection (medium rare). If you don’t like thus ask the waitress to ensure your burger is cooked right through. For me a good burger should be served medium rare.

The banana milkshake was fantastic and a meal on its own :-) All in all a great experience and would happily...

I had a 3-course meal at American Dream Diner and it was delicious! The garlic bread was sumptuous but light, making it an amazing way to start the meal. I had the nacho hotdog for my main course and it was HUGE! Such a generous portion, full of delicious guacamole and salsa, but it didn’t actually make me too full either despite the size. I finished the meal with a banana split which, of course, was stunning. After our meal, we went upstairs to the American Market, which we were very excited about. Although a little smaller than we’d expected, it still had some wonderful treats and we walked away with some new products to try. I definitely recommend visiting American Dream Diner - it’s a hidden gem!

Deco makes you feel like you are in a real American diner. Service is good. There's a gluten free option which is a plus. The burger..... well.... honesty it was a disappointment. It tested like cheap frozen stuff and it was hard to digest... for the three of us, so something I would strongly suggest the restaurant owner to review it. There's a shop on the first floor with classic American items (USA, Chile, Mexican etc). I ha e found both the restaurant and the shops a bit overpriced for the quality. The three starts on this review are for the deco and restaurant service, otherwise it would be a two star.
