Les Amis Asia Dinner — Restaurant in Geneva

To avoid! Scam! There is a limit that must not be crossed. We eat at this restaurant very regularly, we invite our friends and families to eat at the restaurant. We ordered take out. All this to say that we were loyal customers. But tonight the waitress crossed the line. We ordered three main dishes to take away, and each dish normally had a little hot sauce (vinegar with chili peppers). My husband asked for a fourth because he really likes it spicy and the waitress decided to charge him for all the sauces, 0.50/sauce = 2.00. Not only did she try to make him pay for 4 dishes and not 3. In addition, she did not warn that the sauces are chargeable (this is the first time). And she dares to say that one or two sauces are free, if that were true why did she pay for the 4 sauces. I am totally disgusted with this attitude. Soon for towels, or to use their toilets they...

We reserved a table for 10 and we all arrived right on time but were made to wait for about 20-30 minutes. We tried to order for drinks while we wait, they at first took forever to order the drinks and the drinks only arrived some 30 minutes later.

We finally ordered the food and it arrived fairly quickly but we ended up waiting for plates and had to ask for plates several times. The portions were huge though.

The restaurant is located in the very busy street of Pâquis and you will find dodgy people walking all around. I am not sure if we caught this restaurant on a rather busy day where the service was just broken down.

The service here is extremely bad. The waitress is impatient and rude. They expect everyone coming in here knowing French, which is rediculous, because people around the world come here. We had a dinner at night. They put a tiny tiny hand-written sign for "cash only" in French only, behind a open door, which a) is hardly noticeable b) no one can see the words clearly at dark raining nights c)obviously, not everyone can understand the French words. On top of all these, they didn't remind us they only accept cash when we order, we only find out when we're ready to pay the bills. This is absolutely inconvenience. In addition, we didn't get a receipt for paying cash, who knows if they paid...
