Sushi Store Paquis — Restaurant in Geneva

Unfortunately, we visited this restaurant on Holy Monday at 2:10 p.m. hoping to have lunch. We asked if we could still eat, and they told us they close at 2:30 p.m., so we assumed it was fine. However, they immediately asked if we could finish our meal in just 10 minutes. Accepting customers under such conditions is not only unwelcoming but also makes for a very uncomfortable experience.

If the kitchen stops serving at 2:00 p.m., that should be clearly reflected on Google instead of stating the closing time as 2:30 p.m.

That said, we’re actually grateful for the experience — thanks to being turned away, we discovered the restaurant right next door, which is open all day and serves delicious ramen. The food was great and the staff were friendly, reminding us that good service makes all...

First time at this venue despite passing by all the time. Came here for lunch and was not impressed at all. Ordered siu mai and ramen. I suppose the siu mai was ok, not good, just ok. But the ramen was just terrible. The noodles were not proper ramen noodles, the soup was not proper ramen soup, and the meat was just so overdone. In fact, it looked and tasted like a packet of instant noodles without the sachets of flavourings and seasoning. I could do much better with my own packet of instant noodles. This rating is just based on the noodles and dumplings i had. I haven't tried anything else here so have no comments re sushi, or the other dishes...

The Sushi Store is the perfect plane for a quiet and intimate lunch. With its quick service, and flavourful meal varieties, you will get the best of your buck.

I ordered the squid salad (FIVE STARS), miso soup (standard but always lovely) and a iced matcha latte (made to perfection). The ambiance is calming and the food leaves you happy and satisfied.
