The place looks lovely and lively right from the outside and once you leave the entry door closed behind you, you’re welcomed with a smile by its wonderful owner, always kind and jolly.

The food comes in a short selection and all I’ve tried was just good and well done.

I was also pleased to find one of my fav IPAs (although I’ve now banned that brand due to moral reasons).

And the cheesecake? Gorgeous!

But wait, it’s not all a bed of roses: the place is not properly ventilated and all the smells coming from the kitchen will stick with you until your next laundry 🧺😅 the large windowed walls are not insulated and if you end up sitting beside them, you might feel shivers until a hot burger comes to delight you

In conclusion, the place could benefit a few fixes to complement the really good quality of the food.

As soon as we went in we felt so un welcome. We got sat at a dirty table and watched them clean other tables as we waited. Regulars came in they got sat and given menus straight away. I then went up to ask for a menu and our table to be cleared and she raised her voice and told me to sit back down. Waited 5 more minutes with no menu so after being there for 15 minutes we got up to leave, and they didn’t even say a word. I felt so uncomfortable, especially after being yelled at by THE rudest waitress in my life. Never ever been so disappointed, the food must make up the the horrible service. They do burgers here, and they are doing them right! I had a single beef burger with beurre café de paris, which was close to perfect. The bun held up well but was soft enough, the toppings were kept simple (just tomatoes and lettuce), the buttersauce made this almost a steak-like experience and the patty had strong beef flavors going on and was grilled to a perfect and juicy medium rare.
