I have already emailed this To Mr Martin Rhomberg -Regional Vice President and General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel,
I am writing this email due to the unsatisfactory experience my family and I received from Four Seasons Geneva during our stay between August 26th to August 29th.
On the morning of August 27th roughly between 10:30AM to 11AM. There was a young female staff by the name (Mehem) that works as the Hostess at the hotel’s cafe bar. I approached her with “Good morning, I’d like a table for coffee” and was met by her rude attitude , no kind greeting just says to me “You can go to the lobby”. So I went to the lobby and sat there for 10-15minutes before realizing there was zero staff there to serve anything. It was because of another frustrated customer at a table that said she’s been waiting forever and nobody is here to even help give her the bill. So I followed her out of the lobby lounge and met concierge Nicholas who was extremely professional and kind. I asked him how come there was zero waiter in the lounge, so Nicholas took me back to the Cafe bar. As we were standing there waiting, Mehem the hostess comes up behind me and says to me “oh it’s You Again!” With an extremely rude attitude. That was when we got into a shouting contest as I asked her “are you trying to insult me” and her responses were still rude “go take a seat”. The hostess Mehem really knows how to make a person feel disrespected.
Later at my table when my wife and daughter joined me. And then the hotel’s Customer Experience Manager Ottavia came to our table. Ottavia was polite but I need to point out the fact that her approach to me was Pointless and Biased due to how she came over and started right away telling me that Mehem is crying and that how “she doesn’t believe Mehem would behave this way”. Even after telling Ottavia the details of the incident of how Mehem treated me, she still continued to vouch for Mehem and compliment her. Talking to Ottavia was just a waste of my energy. Nothing went into her biased ears.
Surprisingly, The only person afterwards that then came to my table and sincerely apologized for my experience was the concierge Nicholas!! I felt very touched by his kindness ever since the second I asked him for assistance.
The other person I have to compliment is Jevrem and Julian from the Valet /Bell team. Extremely professional since the moment I checked in with my vehicle and every single time going in or out of the hotel they treated us with Warm Friendly Hospitality and Kindness!
There are many other small details that could have made our experience better such as when my wife checked into the hotel she found the Front Desk lacking professional experience. As nobody shared any information with us , for example not informing us where we could have breakfast or where the gym/pool facilities were or any recommendations to go enjoy the hotel’s rooftop restaurant etc. Instead, all of this information/ recommendations were provided to me by Jevrem even without me asking, which was very helpful and informative.
In this past year we have stayed at the Osaka and Kyoto Four Seasons Hotel. The experience was extremely professional and unforgettably enjoyable! From every single detail to every single staff’s kindness. And in our years of travel we have never been so extremely disappointed by a single “Four Seasons Hotel” anywhere in the world. Thus we have such high expectations!
But this experience we received from Four Seasons Geneva this time was by far the worse of all Four Seasons. And this hits even harder because Switzerland “Should be” the pinnacle of Hotel Management.
Due to my daughter attending boarding school In Switzerland. We will be coming back to Geneva often. And this is a big factor of why I am compelled to write to you, in hopes that there can be major improvements at your Geneva...

My stay with Four Seasons des Bergues Geneva ended last month but until today I had time to sit down and write a few lines about them. Although I am quite busy and not often spend time on writing reviews but with them, I will make one.
It was my second time in Geneva, and my first time with Four Seasons Geneva, but I really loved and impressed. Apart from the compliments for the architecture and room style, the most important point for me was the quality of service, and fortunately everything was wonderful. Staffs were polite, attentive, I had a very good experience from the time I checked in until I left. Any requests were responded quickly. Especially right from the time of arrival, the check-in counter realized I had a flu, they brought hot lemon ginger tea to my room. The next day, while I was using service in a hair salon nearby the hotel, the doorman from Four Seasons came in and brought me a cup of hot tea, that moment I felt like my heart melt. I was so touched and couldn't stop thinking about that. I have been travelling to 38 countries and lucky to stay at most of the famous hotels/resorts on the planet, but I have never had such a special memory like I had with them. There are really small but thoughtful actions that are unforgettable. Thank you Sebastien, thank you Abderhamane and the people involved whose names I couldn't get to know. Absolute praise for the customer service team on whatsapp, it's amazing that you work almost 24/7, whenever I message at any time, they always respond quickly and are very helpful. The Housekeeping team who took care of my room also did a great job. Thank you again everyone and this would absolutely be not the last that I'm with you....
