Worst experience of micro aggression in this country. Giving two stars because the food was decent but waitress was quite rude and one could make the argument that she was racist. My partner asked if he could see a menu and was rudely told to go look outside (he had missed it initially). After we sat down, we waited a while and she hadn’t come back to set up our table so I had to go and grab two menus on my own. When she came to take our order, my partner had questions about an alternate menu he had seen and she rudely told us she would bring it over but the kitchen closes in 5 minutes. Now, none of this sounds overtly malicious but when you consider the race of the two people she served, the tone with which she spoke to us and the fact that she was all chummy to the caucasians next to us, I have to wonder why. You can tell people nicely that the kitchen closes soon. Also, why were all the Asian tourists given paper placemats while the other diners had red cloth placemats? Maybe it was busy and the waitress was having a bad day, or maybe she has an unconscious bias. I want to give her benefit of the doubt but it was a disappointing dining experience.
