Pret A Manger — Restaurant in Kloten

We've eaten here many times over the years, and always liked the good variety of coffee and sandwiches. However, this time, when we ordered 4 sandwiches and 2 coffees, 1 sandwich was clearly stale, the bread was hard, the filling dry. I complained to the counter, but they refused to exchange for a fresh sandwich. This is a sandwich I have eaten 10s of times, so I definitely know it was stale. I am sorry to say, but this place is a disgrace to Zurich Airport.

Travelling out of Zurich in the evening, this is the only restaurant in E gate, next to a starbucks. at 830pm, no hot food available anymore, just a bunch of sandwiches that all looked like they had seen better times

What an unexpected delight. Had an amazing service experience with Csaba who made my very short layover of a very long trip on a very early morning something special. He encouraged me to wait for my sandwich to be toasted, helping me with the timing of the flight AND getting me to have fun speaking a language I learned 30 years ago!
