CUT Pizza — Restaurant in Lausanne

The staff and food was just perfect. I put a 3 star out of a big frustration. I was happy to finally see a cut place in Lausanne! But in big cities when we talk about cuts, we talk about customizable cuts. Meaning the waiter asks you the size you want and cuts it exactly for you! Therefore you can choose to try several types and each cut is priced by the weight after put on a scale. Here, you cannot choose anything other than a slice, or half a slice.

For me it is bringing a concept without taking the concept to its right place. They didn't go the extra mile and I would recommend for the sake of attracting more customers to try my recommendation.

Also the knifes cannot be regular knives... It was a nightmare cutting those delicious slices...

I understand all the above might be taken as a personal taste, but I saw how those place are so popular in many cities. I recommend you try to change to that.

Cela fait maintenant 6 ans que nous venons régulièrement acheter des pizzas ici, et en tant qu’Italienne, je peux dire que c’est le seul restaurant de Lausanne où je retrouve vraiment les saveurs authentiques de chez moi. Les pizzas sont excellentes, généreuses et bien équilibrées.

Cependant, depuis quelques mois, nous avons remarqué qu’en venant vers 18h ou 19h, il reste très peu de choix, et les parts de pizza al taglio encore disponibles semblent parfois moins fraîches. C’est un peu décevant, surtout quand on sait que le restaurant est censé rester ouvert jusqu’à 21h.

À mon sens, si l’établissement affiche une ouverture en soirée, il devrait pouvoir proposer un minimum de variété et maintenir la qualité jusqu’à la fermeture. Cela permettrait à tous les clients, même ceux qui arrivent un peu plus tard, de profiter de la même expérience.

Malgré cela, cela reste une excellente adresse que je recommande volontiers, avec l’espoir que ce petit point pourra...

Stumbled across this and thought it seemed worth trying. Glad I did! Pizza was very fresh, quality ingredients where natural flavors come through. Crust was thin, crispy and a perfect base to support toppings. Service was also excellent....
