My first visit - pizza was excellent! The crust is among the best I've had. Wish I could come back soon and try other varieties but Im just a visiting tourist so won't be able to anytime soon. Calamari was also great. That being said, the negative part of the evening was the Tiramisu - it really missed the mark. Not that it tasted "bad"... As a sweet creamy cake like dessert it was fine, but as "Tiramisu" i believe it fails as there is almost no trace of coffee and also has no coffee liqueur. The lady finger layers were all white/light brown in color with no evidence of typical darker brown coffee and each layer was equally dry (not soaked). If there WAS indeed any coffee in this then my friend and I both could not detect it.. however when we mentioned this to the staff while paying the bill, his reaction was quite defensive saying that nobody in 4 years has ever complained about the Tiramisu. He also said they don't use liqueur in this version which I think i can understand but man, I'm serious. there was zero trace of coffee flavor- it was literally a creamy cakey dessert and I cannot qualify that as Tiramisu. Maybe I was unlucky with this batch and the coffee did not spread evenly during preparation, possible... But the staff's defensive tone did leave us with a sour taste and I really wish I could go back in time and make him taste what we tasted just so I could show him. A better response would have been "that's interesting, I'll go check it in case there's something wrong with this batch" or something like that. I'll be back one day for the pizza but if that tiramisu was truly representative of their recipe then I'll pass on...
Read moreDid you know that on weekend, with a reservation, you only have 1 hour to eat?
I would so not reccomend here- the moment i sat down they started to push me to decide what to eat by asking in every 2 minutes. I choose the first thing i saw on the menu, italica- served cold. I didnt mind cause i should be careful on ordering, it was written on the menu that the bufala and tomatoes are added after its cooked. So, I should have thought that the pizza itself would get cold too bc of the cold toppings. But unfortunetaly i didnt had time to think carefully before order due to the pushes. Anyway, no big deal, it can happen, i didnt mind munch UNTIL i asked the waitress to have a lil pause before the dessert. She said i better did not and ask me to choose right away. I got frusturated and went without a dessert. It turned out that I have only 1 hour for the table, thats why all the rushes.
I am not blaming at all the waitress, she was trying to remind us that we have no time. But i am blaming the managers, making this 1 hour limit and taking away all the enjoy and rushing everyone. No customer ever should experience that. Only if I knew this rule when i was doing the reservation, i would never and ever come here to let Luigia ruin my night.
Long story short, its up to you to decide- if you like to pay to eat in rush and also with an attitude that almost expelling you, go ahead you would enjoy. But if you like to experience a calm dinner and take your time to eat, go somewhere else. Personally, I am NEVER coming back again to this place. Apparently they have enough customer to overbook tables that you are...

We visited Luigia for Sunday dinner, and the first impression was truly memorable. The restaurant boasts a stunning decor that blends Italian elegance with the charm of an old theatre, creating a warm and romantic atmosphere that feels both inviting and special.
We started the evening with an aperitivo, and were pleasantly surprised by the non-alcoholic spritz—just as refreshing and satisfying as the real thing.
For our main courses, we had seafood risotto and tagliolini ai gamberi rossi, both of which were absolutely outstanding. Each bite transported us straight to Sicily, with fresh, sweet seafood flavors and a perfectly balanced, harmonious blend of ingredients.
The pizza was decent—well-made with good dough and toppings—but didn’t quite reach the same heights as the pasta dishes.
Desserts were unfortunately a letdown. The pistachio tiramisu and their signature profiteroles were overly sweet and lacked the balance and finesse expected from a restaurant of this caliber.
The biggest disappointment of the evening was the service. There appeared to be a lack of coordination among the staff, and we felt the experience was missing the warmth and hospitality that’s so characteristic of Italian dining.
Overall, Luigia offers a beautiful venue and exceptional pasta dishes, but there’s definitely room for improvement when it comes to service and dessert execution. We’d return for the food—but with more tempered...
