What a splendid experience! I was there yesterday evening with my Mother to treat her, because she loves Indian food.

To be honest, at first we had a hard time finding the restaurant and when we did, we were not sure, if our choice was a good one, because the entrance didn't look very inviting...

But, as soon we step in, we were greeted very friendly and the good experience kept getting better. First we were offered a beautiful table at the window, from were we could watch the busy happening on the cross-road before the restaurant. Second the serving staff took really very good care of us and third the food was just GREAT.

As we are Rogan Josh lovers as well as connoisseurs we ordered our favorite and, boy, we were so happy with the dish served. The portion was sufficiently big, the meat was tender and the taste was just fabulous. The side dishes (rice & naan) were also just as expected.

So, if you like Indian food and are in to top quality as well as good value for money, visit Golden India and try for yourself - we will be back as soon as...

It was much better when we visited a year earlier. When we visited this week, it was a terrible experience. The staff was not in unwelcoming mode. Post that when he came to take order he was there unprepared to take notes and in the midway, he went to grab the tablet to take order. The respective staff needs some customer service mindset training. The Garlic chicken tikka - the worst ever chicken I have eaten in my life. Seems very old stock, rubbery and without any taste. Only savior is they have taken it back, acknowledged the feedback and not billed it. Hence given two stars for the courtesy shown; else, I would have put one star. The chicken in the chicken Briyani was also very bad. However, the chicken in the Butten Chicken gravy and Chicken Madras is Ok-ish. The Butter chicken gravy was very good. Overall very disappointing experience. Good part is the staff acknowledged the feedback and mentioned they will inform the chef...

Ordered through uber eats, after waiting for 2 hours, and seeing that the driver is at the restaurant, I called the restaurant directly, the person that answered the phone said that they didn't see the order on their tablet and that he will check it, I called few minutes later and they couldn't still find it, I canceled the order and they called me about an half hour later saying that they prepared the food and that I should re order it, I refused.

UPDATE: The next day, they saw this review and called me again to explain, the person that called started by saying that they prepared the ordered but the driver never showed up, I told him that this is not what he told me yesterday, he changed the story and said that that the driver actually took the food but he never delivered it to me, that was the time that I understood better that this is a typical Indian BS, and there is no chance that I will...
