We were walking and wanted to have pizza, so when we saw it, we thought it would be the right choice. It was busy, we had a table and ordered our pizza. The pizzas were not cooked well, I think they rushed it. My husband and two sons finished their pizzas, but I only ate half of it. The waiter was very rude, he asked my husband to pass to him the empty bottles when he was clearing the table. I asked if I can have the other half of my pizza packaged for take away. The waiter took it and said yes. He came back after a while with the bill and after we paid he just disappeared. After a while waiting we went and asked him if he can bring the take away pizza. He, in a very careless and rude manner, said we binned it and left. I have never ever come across such rude service. We will never even think to go back again nor recommend it to anyone....

For instance, the restaurant couldn’t even spell the name of a classic dish correctly—a small detail that goes a long way in conveying respect for traditional Italian cuisine.

Read moreGreat atmosphere and speedy service with reasonable prices. We loved the pizze and pasta in this family pizzeria rue Caroline in Lausanne (30 meters away from the metro). The tiramisu and pana cotta were also to die for. The view to Geneva Lake is surprisingly pleasant (when you sit outside and facing south). Sébastien and Antonio, who run the place, always had a good word for us and our son who started studying in Lausanne.
