Alpineum Kaffeehaus°Bar — Restaurant in Lucerne

It's a small café / bar near the lion monument. There are seatings outdoor and inside. Nice and clean. Very friendly staff. We ordered cappuccino and their special tea drink. The special house tea drink was allegedly made with some plants that were hand picked in the alps mountains. So, I got hyped about it and tried it, but unfortunately it was very bland and almost tasteless. It seemed to be very watery and having no special thing about it despite all the praise it was given to it by the batista. I would have liked to be informed that there's not going to be any special taste to the drink and it would taste more like water. But anyway, not a big deal haha. Just sharing this so that maybe it'll be small point for improvement. Other than,...

Bar was nice but the guy with tatoos serving us was DISGUSTING. He made us feel unwelcome from the moment we arrived. We had to order twice as he ignored us. He only came to the table once very ANGRY because we had moved a little sign he had there. He said shouting DO NOT TOUCH THIS. He should not be working as a waiter with his AGGRESSIVE personality. We were three girls and felt very intimidated by him. One of the worst services I have ever experienced in my life. I am sorry I ever set foot in that place....

This café has an ideal location and a nice ambiance. We can recommend the cucumber lemonade, but the Bloody Mary cocktail could not be called a Bloody Mary. We were given a glass with vodka mixed with tomate juice, along with ingredients that we had to add ourselves (salt, pepper, lemon and Siratcha). (Which aren't even the proper ingredients needed to make it 😅)
