Our first meal in Lucerne couldn’t have been more perfect. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with warm smiles and a genuinely friendly team. The staff went above and beyond, taking time to walk us through every item on the menu with great enthusiasm and helpful explanations.

The food was absolutely delicious, but the soup, in particular, deserves a special mention. It was creamy, comforting, and full of flavour, easily one of the best we’ve ever had. Every dish that followed was just as impressive, beautifully plated and bursting with taste.

The vibe of the restaurant added to the overall experience- cozy, aesthetic, and filled with character. It had that perfect balance of elegance and comfort that makes you want to linger just a little longer.

What truly made our experience unforgettable was the chef/manager. Not only did he check in to make sure everything was perfect, but they also took the time to personally write down a couple of great places to chill in the evening. That thoughtful gesture really set this place apart.

An Unexpected Soup That Became the Highlight of Our Trip

We walked in thinking we’d have a coffee and some dessert, but we left with the memory of the most incredible soup of our lives. There was no plan to eat soup, but we are so glad we did. We learned that a mother makes it daily, with no recipe, just pure intuition—and it tastes like it's made with love. It's a complex, balanced, and deeply flavorful soup that I believe anyone would enjoy. It's an absolute must-try.

Beyond the phenomenal food, the staff deserves immense praise for their kindness and helpfulness. They make you feel truly welcome.

And the desserts! They have mastered the art of balanced sweetness. Usually, we can only handle a few bites of a sweet treat, but here, we happily finished every last crumb. The lower sugar content makes them so much more enjoyable.

Very bad food and service. Took so long to even take the order. They are rude and cheat the tourist. Charged us for 2 extra items, we ordered 3 ice-cream flavors, they were no longer serving mocha but charged us. Ice-cream tasted very bad due to artificial flavor. Coffee was cold and chicken nuggets had some kind of smell. Our server (Kassel) was most rude, we noticed even to the table guests across us. In all we spent our precious vacation time and money but had very unpleasant experience.
