Mövenpick Restaurant Luzern — Restaurant in Lucerne

I 100% would not recommend this restaurant to anyone, unless you want to experience racist and rude service. My group and I experienced extremely bad service here that were possibly racially motivated, with staff waiters openly gossiping about us in German, thinking we did not understand them. In one instance, a waiter (blonde girl) straight up told us ‘your English is terrible’, because we were speaking in mandarin and misheard her in English earlier. We felt extremely uncomfortable dining here, which should not be the case. This is completely unacceptable and we are appalled to have received such treatment. We would highly encourage management to conduct proper training to ensure that such future incidences do not happen.

Disappointing Experience – Poor Service and Disrespectful Staff

I had a very disappointing experience at Mövenpick Restaurant Luzern. Despite the restaurant being nearly empty, we were made to wait an unreasonable amount of time for a table. What made it worse was the rude and dismissive attitude of the waitress and staff.

As Asian guests, we couldn't help but feel we were being treated unfairly and with clear bias. The service was noticeably cold and unwelcoming compared to how others were being served. It’s disheartening to face such treatment, especially in a city as international as Lucerne.

This is not what one would expect from a brand like Mövenpick. I hope the management takes these concerns seriously and trains their staff to treat every guest with respect...

Horrible service! I do not understand why Mövenpick does not fire that one server who a lot of people have had reviewed badly on Google. These people, as well as my party, got their evening dinner ruined by her. She is unfriendly, serves drinks with no ice and the wrong side dishes, glares angrily at customers if they ask her something. I didn't want to ask her for more wings even though I had ordered the à discretion course. My friends and I will not return to Mövenpick! Even though we like the food, which is good, we couldn't enjoy it properly. From now on we'll eat our chicken wings at Bistro du Theatre, their servers are friendly and welcoming. We've given Mövenpick and that rude server way too many chances. I will not pay for this humiliating...
