Grütli — Restaurant in Montreux

This is the worst restaurant we have ever seen, refused to serve us because we didn't order a lot of food!! Very rude staff.. The owner of this restaurant needs to change the policy!

Thank you for your reply, however we have not been told without reservation we not welcomed!! we have asked for other food not only 2 cheese foundo, we tried to order desserts from the menu and chocolate fondo and they were not available, we have ordered drinks and wine and tea all that was not enough for us to be served , anyway the restaurant Le Museum welcomed us with our order and the food was lovely and respectful to us. The owner if reading this and happy with what happened need to change this policy and be more nice to tourist groups without reservations!!! Or at least put a note on the door to mention without reservations...

A pearl. Family owned restaurant in a traditiionnal ouylook makes you feel like at your grandma's house 30 years ago. Just loved the place, the basic but delicious food and mainly the atmosphere with locals coming there every day to have a drink or some food. I understand those who said "bad service" in the comment as this is not a modern place where you come to be served, it seems you aremore of a friend than a customer. Though it was very strange to enter the place, as every know each other you feel a bit like the only foreigner there but once you start talking to them they are very open and you feel like a guest.

Very cozy place up on the hills. I came sort of early on a weekday and ended up being the only person to dine there my entire meal, but I was fortunate to have the company of Lulu, the cat who lives there! I had the tasting which consisted of the charcuterie board, cheese fondue and dessert. I assume it was meant for two people because I struggled to finish everything, but tried really hard to finish it. Everything was lovely and would come back again if I’m in Montreux...
