Tea Room de la Baye — Restaurant in Montreux

The lady who attended us … could barely give us her time of day. She rolled her eyes and left us while we were in the middle of ordering because my daughter hesitated. Xenophobic? Because my daughter didn’t understand French? Then she told us there were no more crepes. It’s literally a crepe place and it was 1pm… it was clear she did not want us there. I asked her for the salad like the guy beside me, and she brought me a very simple salad unlike his. Ended up having to get a croissant because I was hoping for more food for lunch. Terrible service and food was nothing special....

Small French cafe on the uphill of Montreaux in the rich area. Had to get a bus to get there because the incline is tiring but that was not a problem. The kind man service was absolutely perfect, fast and polite. Very cute teapots and tasty tea. Fresh croissant. Very few tables and kind of small but the view was worth it. It was also the warmest cafe ! Will visit...

What’s not to love? Adorable and authentic little cafe located along the hillside in Montreux. The food was absolutely delicious- we had the crepes and a salad, along with a cappuccino.
