I recently had the pleasure of visiting a coffee patisserie in Montreux, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the pistachio cream dessert. It was hands down the best I've ever had in Montreux. The creamy pistachio filling was perfectly balanced with just the right amount of sweetness, and the buttery, crispy pastry shell added a delightful texture to every bite.

Apart from the outstanding desserts, I was also impressed by the overall presentation of the treats. Each dessert looked like a work of art, beautifully crafted and inviting. It was evident that great care and attention to detail went into every aspect of their creations.

The service at the patisserie was equally exceptional. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making me feel right at home. The cozy atmosphere added to the overall enjoyment of my visit, creating a warm and pleasant dining experience.

On a rainy night in Montreux, we came across this wonderful place. It was located on a cozy neighbourhood not too far from the city’s centre and lake. Starting from the impeccable service to the most delicious food and ending with mouthwatering desserts and Arabian sweets, this place deserves more than 5 stars! Mr. Mohammed, who served us, was extremely generous and friendly, helpful with suggestions, thoughtful about any dietary restrictions or allergy in addition to being very honest and mindful about portion sizes that proved to be just right and satisfying for our party. Although everything was freshly prepared and grilled, the food did not take too long to be served. We had the best Shawarma in town hands down! The kabab and tawouk were also very delicious and cooked to perfection. Unfortunately, we were too hungry to take pictures of the food. Nonetheless, we enjoyed every bit of it.

This place is going on my favorites list in Montreux and we’ll definitely be coming back...

Visiting Montreux for a few days we decided to go to Cafe Central by Damas, because of the high ratings and good reviews and we were not disappointed. My wife and I love middle eastern food and we have eaten at various ME restaurants around the world including in the Middle East and the food at Cafe Central was truly some of the best we have had anywhere. The meats were tender and flavorful, the shawarma was not only delicious but beautifully presented and the rice was exceptional. Even the French fries were great but I don’t know that I would even bother serving fries with that food. And the great news is that all that fantastic food comes at very reasonable prices. The Cafe Central by Damas deserves to be recognized by the Michelin Guide as a Bib Gourmand. My recommendation: go there before it gets discovered or you’ll have to wait months for a...
