Unfortunately, I came in here tonight after trying to reserve online but I did not get a response from the enquiry I made. I walked in with my husband, smiling at who I expect was the owner behind the counter and spoke to him and said "hello, do you have our reservation or a table for two? I was then mocked, and the owner shouted, "gah ga bla bla bla no English I speak 5 other languages not English" (this was spoken in perfectly understandable English).
We've travelled a lot, and even with language barriers, never have I been spoken to like that. With a lot of my family and friends residing in Italy, I was shocked to be welcomed or rather unwelcome in this way to an Italian restaurant. Read moreThe best meal and experience we had in Switzerland and the best Italian food - even better than the food we tried in Italy. The owner Mario made us fall in love with the place instantly. He is the soul of that restaurant and makes you feel like you've never had a real restaurant experience before. Apart from the great atmosphere the food is just to die for - we liked it so much that we ate there two days in a row and we did not regret it. On both occasions the food tasted home made and simply delicious. The best meal I have had was Ravioli di Tartuffi recommended by Mario. Compliments to the chef who is clearly doing what he loves and makes the dining experience one of a kind. A few months have gone by and I still think about our time there!
