Sinatra's Bar — Restaurant in Montreux

Absolutely stunning view and just steps away from Lake Geneva. Location Location Location .. this place is it! The atmosphere lives up to its namesake. A grand piano in the restaurant.. nice cozy and “ a European quaint kinda vibe”. The food was flavored and spice well. We had a grilled chicken sandwiches with nice crispy fries.. “delicious” is the only word I can think of.. now the service can be subjective.. if you are a “local” who speaks French.. if you met that criteria you will get served fast and efficient from what we observed in the long time we waited to put our order in. We were obviously dressed different from the locals so perhaps that something to do with it. We tried to speak a little French but it was nowhere close to perfect. We had to ask four times before we could finally put our order in on a typical Sunday afternoon with a moderate crowd. We’d definitely return but I would just like management know. Thank you to the staff at Royal Plaza for a wonderful stay. Our experience was excellent—the hotel was clean, the location was perfect, and most of all, the view from our room was absolutely stunning.

From the start, during check-in, I expressed my concern about my nighttime coughing, which is loud and uncontrollable. I didn’t want to disturb our neighbors, so I requested a more isolated room. The staff member assisting us (unfortunately, I didn’t catch his name) was incredibly understanding and took the time to show us several options to choose from.

Breakfast was great, and the staff was attentive. We also visited the Sinatra Lounge, where we were served by Augustine. He was fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable about the area, and provided great recommendations for activities, ensuring we had a great experience.
