Casi Casa — Restaurant in Zurich

One of the best steak's I've had in Zürich. The Staff is super nice and takes their time to make sure you're doing alright. We celebratated my sister's Birthday 🎂 and they hid behind the curtain for bringing the cake to make sure it had a surprise effect. Super cute!❤️ It's also nice to get a free starter of tortillas with 3 different dips so the group can snack a lil before the food comes. The ceviche tasted fresh and I absolutely loved the chicharrones! They were much more tender and juicy than what I knew from Mexico which I actually prefer. It also paired beautiful with the pumpkin sauce that came with it!!! We took the Rib Eye Steak, the Pork Chop and the Chicken with Mole(chocolate sauce). The steak was absolutely perfect. Medium Rare AS IT SHOULD BE! Don't kill the animal twice you feel me!?!🔪🥷The pork was tender and juicy. The fat rendered very nice as well. The chicken was juicy and the Mole was well seasoned but I wouldn't be surprised if this wouldn't suit some of the western taste buds. It has more of an earthy, raw cocoa taste than the chocolate most swiss would maybe expect. The spice level tho is not that strong so most would be comfortable. Seafood poisoning on November 05th I went to have dinner with 2 friends, we ordered ceviche, cheese & potato empanadas, chicken tacos & cazuela de mariscos. My friend found a little piece of glass inside her empanada!!! Unfortunately she smashed it so she swallowed a piece of it. We informed the waiter and he gave her new empanadas. I ate the cazuela de mariscos which was good. Unfortunately next morning I woke up with a big stomach pain & have being throwing up all day long, I couldn’t go to work. It’s the first time in my life I get seafood poisoning. I come from the south of Mexico so seafood has been an important part of my diet since I was a child. I don’t have any allergy, neither a sensitive stomach, still this time the pain and discomfort were big. I wrote to Casi Casa explaining the situation, they apologise saying they are investigating about the piece of glass incident & reinforcing safety checks & communication with their kitchen staff. They didn’t even offer to reimburse me the cazuela of mariscos dish. They only said if I want to come back I can book directly with the head of admin & HR 🙄 Of course I’m not thinking to...

I celebrated my birthday at Casi Casa, and I couldn’t have wished for a better experience! From the moment we arrived, Ela, the manager, made sure every single wish was accommodated – she went above and beyond to make the evening truly special.

The vibe was absolutely amazing – lively, warm, and full of energy. The location is perfect, just a stone’s throw from HB, which makes it super convenient. The food was exceptional, full of flavor and beautifully presented, and let’s not forget the tequila – definitely one of the highlights of the night!

With my girls by my side, the atmosphere was just unbeatable. The live music brought that authentic Latin American feel, and later when the DJ turned up the reggaeton, the place transformed into a true dance floor. It was such a blast to celebrate in this vibrant, joyful setting.
