We were not guests at the 25 Hours Hotel, but we went to the bar to celebrate my friend’s birthday. We were greeted by a very unfriendly host named Michael (tall, blond guy). He was very unaccommodating, and our friends were seated separately from us in a different part of the room. Despite the fact that we were in compliance with the Covid-19 seating arrangement (less than 4 people per couch: 3 on one and 2 on another with minimum 1.5 meters distance), he insisted that we were not compliant and placed 3 of us in a completely isolated area on the other side of the bar. It was not only the absurdity of the seating arrangement itself, but his arrogant attitude and the inhumanity in which he dealt with his customers. He said that he didn’t care if it was my friend’s birthday, and that if we didn’t like the arrangement, there are other customers who are waiting for a table in any case. I told him that he should not treat his customers this way (I work in customer service myself), and it was not only his comments, but also his body language and attitude. After that, he made a snide remark to me & asked me to leave the bar. I have never been treated so disrespectfully as a patron. I felt really bad for my friend especially, because she didn’t need to experience that on her birthday. No one needs to...
Read moreI get to the bar, it's quite crowded, I get I glance at the cocktail card and it has tens of them, so I don't have time to watch at it and then I ask for a Daiquiri. The answer from the bar tender is "We don't do Daiquiri". Oh nice, you know... it's such an exotic cocktail. (Of course, he doesn't recommend anything else and looks annoyed that then I have to choose again). I'll get a beer to cut it short. Then I come back to the bar to ask a couple of large beers. I'm served two small ones. I ask to change, and I'm answered "I can make smaller ones, if you want." All of these of course with no "Hi", nor "Thank you". I've had here probably the worst treatment from a bartender I remember in a long time. It's nice to be treated with such great dignity when you pay 20 buck for a cocktail. Keep like this, you're the greatest bartenders in town. I'll recommend you to everybody I know.
It's not a single star just because the palce has anyhow quite a nice feeling and it seems OK. To bad they made us...
Read moreCool bar with unique and interesting design, delicious drinks and great atmosphere. It is usually very full on weekends even if you go a little bit earlier, don't expect to find a place to sit that easy especially if you are a bigger group of people. Dress nicely because it is a bar with fine dressed people (smart casual). Go for the cocktails, they are the best even if they are small. The bar is an experience itself, don't forget to take a walk above the stairs to find a cool Arcade room. Would say it is the best for 2-3 friends having a drink and maybe...
