Read the great reviews and was looking forward to go and eat there. We shared beef noodle soup with Chinese noodles, crispy pancakes and mapo tofu. To be honest, 2 out of 3 dishes I wouldn't order again. The soup came with lots of pakchoi which I liked but the the "soup" tasted for both of us of nothing else than mostly water and a hint of the pakchoi and then that's it.. That's not a soup.. The pancake was so oily we wouldn't have eaten it if we did not have the bland soup that needed some kick, so we ate the soup and the pancakes together. But the pancakes too only tasted of fried nothingness. Later the mapo tofu arrived, that one was delicious! I really loved it and would order it again. Already when looking at the menu I thought you'd need to order spiced food to have a good experience. So I'd return for the mapo tofu but not for the other 2 dishes mentioned. It was a lunch and the place was not busy, still we didn't feel we got served fast. Not in terms of the kitchen but the waitstaff. We hope the food will be better next time. Then I also want to try...
Read moreI came here with my team for lunch and reserved in advance.
The tables are long and arranged for more of a sharing meal. The decoration is peculiar but hip at the same time. The service is a bit slow, even when there were only three tables during lunch.
One thing I enjoyed was the free hot water refill for the tea. That was a surprise! The food is also very creatively served. One colleague was served his dish on some kind of Kebob dish, which was a bit strange. The portions are definitely too huge to eat alone.
I was really excited about this beautiful soup, but then it turned out to be flavorless. I was a bit disappointed, after having some really tasty dumplings. I don’t recommend the beef soup - the broth literally has no flavor. Even the other Asians at the neighbor table didn’t eat/finish the soup.
The rest of the team enjoyed their meals. If I am trying to sober up for Langstrasse, I would come here. Otherwise, go somewhere else for...
Read moreWe didn’t make any reservation so we called before we showed up. They told us to come one hour later and there might be a 15min wait, but we saw those good comments so we decided to wait till 8:30pm to show up. An Asian girl with short black hair had the worst attitude when we got there - she shouted at us and said I cannot tell you if you can be seated in 15 or 20min. We repeated what we heard from the phone call, then she was like I can give you the answer after 10min. So we said yes we can wait. But then she said, again with a very rude voice: I cannot tell you if you can be seated after 10min, but I can give you the answer if you can wait for 10min. We left confused because we didn’t know what “the answer” mean.
The restaurant should hire someone who can express themselves clearly to the customers without shouting. Honestly haven’t seen such a bad service and attitude for so long - this is my very first restaurant review...
