Toro Bar — Restaurant in Zurich

Went with my friends for their karaoke which was supposed to start at 2100 every Thursday. They started setting up 10 mins before 2100 however this seemed to not be enough for the staff. My friends went up to the booth 5 mins before 2100 to enter their songs but they told them that we had to wait till it was 2100. We waited until 21:22 to no avail, then left. No staff was there anymore to set things up. Not sure if it was false advertisement or the staff just failed to inform the people about the technical issue.

Food I mean the drinks. The drinks are always good before midnight, afterwards there is a lot of people meaning a lot of pressure and work and they usually are a little bit not mixed enough. On the weekends sometimes they make you pay if you come after 22:30 (12.-) last time they let me in gratis (girl power lol). Music and the ambience is amazing, almost no table in the bar cause they wanna make you dance in the middle and I think is really nice. And you can give your jacket like in the club but you...

We went in late at night on Sunday but they still had food options. The tapas were decent, esp. the inferno chorizo which comes in a cool platter where they light it on fire. We also got the wings which were unfortunately half frozen still. I guess it was 10PM on Sunday night but was disappointing still. The bartender was friendly and did a good job. Place seems to be a good place to hang out for drinks but don't expect much...
