I frequent Kafi für Dich quite often because it is smack, dab in the middle of the city and is usually fairly peaceful during the morning to work. It’s one of the only restaurants in Zuerich that has a kids corner. They have a huge wall chalkboard for kids to draw on and a few toys and books. It’s cool for small kids too. Occasionally they have acoustic concerts. It’s just a really nice locale.
Coffee is excellent and the food is good. They have an in house baker who does great american styled treats. On the weekend they have very tasty brunch buffet with the traditional Swiss favorites mixed with things like Hummus and fried sausages and potatoes.
The only thing that prevents me from giving this place 5 stars is the service. It can be straight up awful at times. I have walked in numerous times to order something and the service employees will see you, and just continue to do whatever they were doing,...

However, they were more than just polite, excused themselves several times and offered something else for free. Plus for them ;) Now, it's an all-arounder bar/chilled food place. Quick bites: yes. Simple coffee: yes. Quick beer: yes. However: homemade lemonade is made of water with lots of yellow limo juice you take from migros/coop. The 3 stars of my review, might be a bit harsh. It's just that I didn't feel it just isn't something more, it didn't had a great vibe, or at least, not my style. Surely a solution if you need something easy and quick. Would I go again: under...
