Very bad experience with the rude waiter and manager! Yesterday, my husband and I went to this restaurant because we wanted to have a nice Asian dinner. When we approached the staff outside, he said to wait in a sarcastic manner, he prioritized fixing and locking the chairs at the al fresco area over seating us inside because it was a bit cold. We already left because it took him more than 15 mins to lock the chairs. But we were too hungry so we decided to go back. We asked for a table for 2, the waiter seated us at a long table with 2 other female customers at the other end while the resto was close to empty. In no less than 5 minutes after we sat down, my husband was on the floor, hurt his back and head because the chair he was sitting on broke into 2 and the Venti Cup of Starbucks coffee he was drinking spilled everywhere. I immediately went to check what happened. The waiter was just standing there and staring at us so I asked him to help my husband but instead he got the mop to sweep the spilled coffee. I was so furious and asked him to call the manager so I could report the incident.
The lady manager came and she seemed to me more furious than me. I told her what happened and appeared to be agitated that the chair broke and that we are complaining . And she told me that I cannot be angry and but I said that my husband was hurt because of the broken chair. She was in a very rude manner and with the audacity to tell me that it will be her decision if she will call an ambulance or if she will refill the coffee that spilled. And I told her that she is very rude and we don’t want to dine in a restaurant with rude staff and manager. Then we walked away. It was our first horrible experience in a supposedly “nice restaurant” here in Zürich! I certainly don’t recommend this restaurant with rude...
Read moreCame here with a group of 12 accommodating as wasn’t so busy on a Saturday evening. Food was ok curry rice, ramen and Bao. Isn’t authentic Asian food. BUT DO NOT ORDER PHO. I am Vietnamese and the Pho was just water and curry paste. Obviously original pho is not made of Curry Paste. It was like they ran out of pho base soup and quickly made that soup base or that is how they make it there who knows. If I am correct they charged us for water I think we asked for tap water and was charge for it too. Not a hundred percent as I am from London not understanding the system. But that’s what my friend said and she is from Zurich as we were not told this before hand. Very pricy for the portion and food quality. We however didn’t bother to complain. We waited over an hour for the food and kids were starving so we just didn’t bother complaining...
Read moreWell we tried to get their attention when we first went in which took a while. Eventually we were given a large choice of reasonably clean tables and we chose one by the window with a great view of the trains which kept the kids happy! The service was quite slow and it took a good ten minutes to order our drinks and food.
Drinks were good, they have a decent beer, juice and cocktail selection but the wine selection is fairly limited. IPA was good.
The food selection is nice but the food itself was not great, the various dishes just feel strangely put together. It is neither traditional Chinese or Japanese or anything like that and it just comes across as a weird mish mash of different flavours which dont sit together.
I probably wouldnt come here again as there are better places and it is...
