Stocker — Restaurant in Zurich

Last time I stopped by, the lady on the cashier was talking to me in a weird way, but I just ignored it and said maybe it’s not one of her best days.

Today 11.07. at 9:55 and another cashier/barista and this happens: I was waiting in line to order and a dark skinned guy wanted to order before me. He spoke english and she kept repeatedly saying things in German and he would ask her what she means. She then rudely hits the screen on the cashier and tells him to look at it! If I was in his place, I wouldn’t stay this calm tbh! The guy was too nice and he even apologized to me when I tried to translate to him what she meant.

**To be fair she helped me with the order and brought it outside as I had a baby with me, but again, she needs to chill and smile a bit more!

This seems like a pattern here and not a one time occurrence.. So never again.. It just ruined...

We are tourists from Australia traveling to Zurich. We visited this bakery near our hotel. The taste was alright, but we didn't appreciate the pushy attitude of the staff, urging us to order quickly. There weren't many customers, to be honest. Also, they handed us the ordered bread as if throwing it at us, which is hardly ever seen in Australia. If you can open the door and decide within 3 seconds, quickly place your order, pay swiftly with a card, then you'll be able to leave in no time, Highly...

Mein Liebster wollte mir heute Morgen eine Überraschung machen und lief am frühen Sonntag Morgen zum einzig guten und auch geöffneten Bäcker, 3 km hin und leider ohne feine Backwaren, wieder retour. Er hatte, wie immer, ausschliesslich Bargeld bei sich und stand völlig verdutzt und irritiert vor dem Stocker Bäcker. Ein grosses Schild wies ihn darauf hin , dass er ausschliesslich mit Karte zahlen könne... Karte unterstrichen. Enttäuscht lief er wieder nach Hause, unser Sonntagsfrühstück, was er so romantisch plante, war gescheitert. Ich frage mich, wieviel anderen Kunden es an diesen Tagen genauso erging. Wieviele alte/behinderte Menschen eine Scheu haben, mit diesen Plastikkarten umzugehen. Wieviele Menschen gar keine Bankkarte besitzen. Haben diese keinen Anspruch auf ein feines frisches Weggli?
