Tibetasia — Restaurant in Zurich

I made a reservation here as another restaurant was closed for holidays. The first impression is not the best. They do not have a website where you can see a menu, and you walk inside seeing a buffet. I got worried it was only buffet, but it turned out not to be.

We were greeted and then sat at our table a few minutes after. The place is a bit cramped and the building is pretty old. We ordered our food and it took a while but it was worth the wait. The portions were a bit big for the women but just right for the guys.

From an App "TooGood togo" I discovered this kind hearted Restaurant. The localisation is near yet not too close to Zurich Mainstation. As soon as you enter the Restaurant there are gentle and very warmhearted Employees to greet you. They offer their professional advice on which dishes might be compatible to one's palate and naturally suggest the buffet. The buffet consists of more or less than 20 different dishes. Warm and cold dishes are for self serving and are constantly refilled with even more delicious dishes. The interior is built in a more wooden yet modern design. It's almost like a welcome home atmosphere. Price-wise very acceptable for a Restaurant nearest to Zurich. All in all a very recommendable Restaurant for any meat or vegetarian...

first time today eating here for lunch. the buffet is chf 24 per adult and chf 12 per child — all you can eat, including one drink. the employee explained that lunch is always buffet, while in the evening you can choose between buffet or à la carte.

we received a warm welcome and felt comfortable right away. seating is available both inside and outside, and the atmosphere is nice. the food was decent and overall worth the price. unfortunately, i did find a hair in the cucumber salad, which was disappointing, but apart from that, everything else was fine. reservations are possible.
