Tipsy Tiger — Restaurant in Zurich

Dirty table The waiters ignored us from the beginning, once we asked if someone could clean up we were told that „you should not sit down where empty drinks are“. It was the only free table available. We asked if we have to go to the bar to get served & the waitress said well I‘m here now with a rude tone. I was super excited to visit this bar as it was the birthday of my friend but now I‘m thinking if is should come back ever again. After we asked for the menu we waited another 20min to be served, we left without ever getting a drink. We‘re very disappointed. Please school your employees to check up on your guest (keep in mind it was not too busy) ps. I have more than 10 year of experience in gastronomy I think I can say something about this matter. This is a comment to improve and not to tear the bar...

Nice idea about tap Coctails and especially about the refill option (10 chf). HOWEVER, it does not really work. 90% of the glass is and has to be ice. Service was also really unfriendly even though I asked always kindly. For example: I asked for a refill when the ice cube was still the size of 3 normal ice cube, taking space of at least half of the glass. They however unfriendly denied a refill because the ice cube was "too small". As there were 6 people with me, they lost us and I won't be coming back with my friends. What also bothered me was, that one coctail was served in a much smaller glass...

If we have to talk about tipsy tiger, I would say that it is probably one of the best bar I have ever been.

But realistically, the concept is amazing. Downstairs you have amazing tap cocktails where you can just enjoy great drinks on tap, like a punch of flavours out of a freaking keg.

And upstairs you got an amazing speak easy, drinks are marvelous, you will experience what's the real deal. But keep it quiet, otherwise it will be to hard to sit at the bar.

Just go, and enjoy, because it is just made to satisfy you in every way.
