Lovely vegan pitas!

We found this place on Tiktok and were curious to try it after seeing the raving reviews! Unsurprisingly, we were really happy about the meal we got.

The fries are stellar, crispy on the outside, and soft inside, with the most delicious spice mix sprinkled on top. Delectable!

The pitas are good as well. We got the two newly released entries on the menus: the crispy veganitas chick'n and the planted teriyaki. I got the latter. The bread is great, soft, but it's solid enough to keep all the fillings and sauces without falling apart. The planted teriyaki, in my opinion, was a bit too salty but good overall.

The sizes of these pitas are massive. They fill them a lot (maybe a bit too much?), so you can rest assured that you'll never leave this place hungry!

Even though the sizes are generous, don't skip the fries. They're definitely one of the highlights of this restaurant/takeaway!

For drinks, they offer a homemade ginger tea, which was pretty tasty, and some other selected soft drinks you don't find everywhere in Zurich, such as Vivi Kola and multiple flavors of Gazosa from Ticino (rasperry, mandarin and lemon).

The place itself is not very big, but it has some tables to eat outside as well. I really loved the branded napkins, too, a very nice touch to...

Very tasty! I had the döner and found it flavorful and filling. I’m not usually a fan of junk /fast food, but this was not the equivalent of getting some greasy burger. The pita bread is thin and tastes freshly made, the filling doesn’t feel greasy, and there are plenty of greens in the pita. I wish they went a bit easier on the sauce because I didn’t love it and that was the dominant flavor by far (as opposed to the vegan kebab which I could barely taste), but despite that I really enjoyed the meal and think it’s a good value for money in Zurich The staff was extremely kind and friendly, especially the Spanish woman who was part of the kitchen crew when we visited. The reason I dock a star is that the place looked and felt dirty. It was dim and grungy, the floor was dirty and sticky, and overall it was not a pleasant or inviting place to eat. If I return, I’d take to go just to not sit there for...

When I arrived in Zurich on my way to Berlin, I was looking for something decent to eat, as I still had 12 more hours by bus in front of me.

Veganitas is the spot to go if you're looking for tasty, fresh and fast homemade food - almost everything there is made in-house, including the sauces and pita. Almost every menu item comes on the pita - it's basically the theme, beyond being vegan.

Everything was prepared to order so it came out hot and delicious.

The fries were over-seasoned and Planted Summer Pita I had was very balanced flavorwise, but I found myself wanting some more acid from some lime juice, or maybe lemon, and maybe some heat - but they did have hot sauce available for the customer to put on.

Overall, I would definitely recommend this place. Especially if you're vegan and don't want to have to worry about the rest of menu items and potential...

Stumbled across this vegan spot while wandering around Zurich, and honestly? Solid surprise. Feels a bit like a fast food place when you first walk in, but the food? Way healthier than expected and actually really good. Had the pita with the Berlin kebab filling and it was on point. Packed with flavor, held together like a champ, and totally satisfying. Also tried the crispy Veganita chicken super tasty with that perfect crunch. Didn’t even take photos of all the food we ordered because I couldn’t stop eating that’s how good it was. And the iced tea? Massive cup, super refreshing, and not overly sweet. Honestly a win all around. If you’re in Zurich and want a quick, plant-based meal that doesn’t feel like a compromise, this place is 100% worth the stop.
