It was a rainy day while shopping around Dihua Street, and I was worried there wouldn't be many places open to rest — but luckily, I found this café open as early as 10 AM, which is perfect for early birds like me.

I ordered their Basque cheesecake. It’s not the trendy molten kind, but I was pleasantly surprised by the rich nutty aroma and dense, comforting texture. Even better — it’s gluten-free! I paired it with a hot latte, which had smooth microfoam and a deep coffee aroma. On a cool 22°C rainy day, it was exactly what I needed to feel warm and cozy.

The atmosphere here is also lovely — wooden accents and soft lighting make it a great spot to sit back and relax. Definitely a place I’d love to...

Service was friendly.

They are very knowledgeable about coffee and selected the sumatra gayo coffee bean for me that did not have a sour aftertaste. It tasted very good and was exactly what I was looking for.

I also ordered a strawberry smoothie. This was just ok. Nothing special about it and I've had better elsewhere. I'd skip it personally.

It's not the best cafe out there, but the ambiance was good. We had a large table to ourselves.

The Sumatran coffee was ok. It wasn't sour. The dark roast is what you want to lessen the caffeine, but also so as to avoid sourness.

The strawberry smoothie was not the best I've had. Further, don't expect a sizable portion as far as smoothies go. It's actually on the small side.
