Highly recommend this place for a date! There is a DIY place downstairs where you can hand print your own bag. The coffee/tea shop is upstairs. They have an unique beer selection and award winning chocolate. There are several other shops lining the street for a nice stroll.
DIY: I got my tickets online from Accupass. Basically (1) you pick the type of bag you'd like to print on (2) pick the design, more designs are single colored while few are two colored (3) select the color of the paint (4) get to work under guidance of the instructor. Takes 30-45min.
Meal: atmosphere upstairs is nice. The cafe is mostly for coffee, tea, beer, and chocolate. They are light on meal selection and is more suited for afternoon tea. I don't eat bread and they were able to accommodate and replace bread with an extra egg.
Accessible by MRT. Don't recommend driving as the area is touristy and can be crowded.

Very peaceful on a rainy day and rather blissful and unhurried if one gets a window seat and can enjoy the view outside. Wide selection of tea drinks and a rather interesting offer of chocolates . Chocolate quality is not too bad but not exceptional but nice to be able to have that as pairing with one’s tea/ coffee. Service is very attentive and pleasant like most of Taiwan. Also an interesting selections of roast which I did not...

Don't leave without trying some of their tea chocolates for an equally delightful treat to your taste buds. The staff here is friendly and passionate about the things they serve; I highly...
