Three people came. Two bought coffees. One staying and one takeout. The third was accompanying us. We all sat down to wait for the coffee.

As soon as the coffees arrived, two were about to leave. We were discussing some last-minute details re the rest of our day. The waiter showed up immediately to tell my friend who was accompanying us that she has to buy a drink.

I told the waiter that they were leaving, but he did not hear what I said, and pressed on that everyone needs to buy a drink.

After the third round insisting and not listening, a waitress came by and repeated the same thing. Now I was pissed.

The staffs were not apologetic, but indignant. An apologetic tone would have gone a long way, and apology would have made the kicking us out a bit easier to swallow.

The most interesting part of live jazz is the interaction / chemistry between the audience and the band; on the condition that the band can Deliver！

While the band is well below average, and dixielane still choose to put them on stage on Sat nite under fee, dixielane is actually putting its own brand at risk!

Just count the number of audience last nite , and how many actual guests there!
