Visited during lunch hours on a weekday. This placed is quite packed and I was only able to be accommodated in the "lobby entrance area" where there were 2 small waiting ta tables - reservation is recommended. There are no elevators so you need to walk up narrow & steep stairs. Ordered 佛跳墙(Buddha jumps over the wall), which was a soup with various ingredients, chicken feet, spre ribs and assorted steamed dumplings. I can only say the dim sum wasn't authentic Canton, however fused with imaginations. All the steamed items I had were good and fresh. But the NT580 cost of the 佛跳墙 wasn't justified, inpsite of there was a piece each of albalone and fresh scallop - there was also traces of battered fried pork ribs, some pork dumpling, taro bits and pork stomach. The authenticity of this 佛跳墙 should have clear soup and the soup they made was murky and starchy, which is odd - I would not reccommend this item. The service however was very good, especially the young lady at the reception seemed to have controlled the floor very well. She was very apologetic as my order came late and I was offered some free herbal tea while waiting. Note: Minimum charge NT300/pp. Dining duration limits...

Dim sum Taiwan version was not bad. We do love the presentations for all the drinks🍹, this is prevalent in all the places we tried.
月好花圓milk tea with boba and gold was worth it for the presentation alone 😂
Nestled in the center of the famed Dihua Street especially during Lunar New Year, the view from 2nd story while we dined was nostalgic and exciting.
Being Cantonese, we found the Dim Sum enjoyable. They did take liberty in adjusting but everything we had was pretty good. Radish cake was yum.
The pineapple bread with a wad of salted butter chilled on ice is Hong Kong throw back you gotta try! 😝

Read moreThe food looks and sounds great on the menu, but very sadly, its very unsuccessful. We should have known better as it’s aimed squarely at tourists visiting nearby Dihua Street. There’s only one dish I’d order again. All the rest on their own are unsuccessful, but together they’re a mish-mash of flavours that don’t belong on the same table. Added to that the siu mai was served cold, the whole meal took 25 - 30 minutes to arrive and we found a prawn shell and something like a brush bristle in one of the dumplings. Big thumbs down.
We were sternly warned on arrival that we must finish within one and a half hours. To be honest we didn’t...
